Adobe Digital Edition Ubuntu Linux
I now have Calibre on my Ubuntu and I have sent the past couple of days trying to figure it all out. Sometimes my mind is thicker then molasses. i did manage to download a couple ebooks. I would like to set it up to be in a kind of synchronization with my eReaders, that's plural. I have a Kobo WiFi, and one Barnes & Noble Nook Color. I think and I am using the word with some caution, that I have my Kobo set with my Calibre, am not positive? Is it as simple as; if I have my eReader connected to my computer and I open Calibre, it will in turn recognize the eReader. So if I have my Nook Color connected, Calibre will recognize it and vice versa with the Kobo WiFi?
When I had my Kobo connected to my PC, Calibre recognized it. Now, this is going to sound stupid, but what was suppose to happen next? Will it copy the books I have on my eReader to Calibre or is Calibre just for transferring ebooks from Calibre to whatever eReader is connected? I was none to sure of what I was doing so closed Calibre and disconnected my Kobo.
I am going to open Calibre and take a look with no eReader connection, maybe i can figure it out? If not i will probably be bugging anyone for some answers to simple and undoubtedly dumb questions

- Installing Adobe Digital Editions in Ubuntu. Now double click the Adobe Digital Editions launch icon on your desktop, to open it. First time, it asks for setup, follow the instruction on screen to complete it. Now drag and drop the.acsm(ebook file) onto the Adobe Digital Editions window to load the ebook.
- Then download Adobe Digital editions. Link to download Adobe Digital editions. Then, install the file you dowloaded from Adobe (It was ADE_4.5_Installer.exe, for me), in the Wine virtual Window.
